Trey Waters

Trey Waters was born and raised in Bristol, Virginia and first became interested in medicine as a child. At the age of 12, he learned that his grandfather had been diagnosed with Diabetes and took the opportunity to help him figure out his medications and set up a dosing chart. From that point forward, Trey pursued his goal of becoming a pharmacist. He was fortunate enough to be accepted into the Pharmacy School at Campbell University when he was 19 years old. In addition to his Pharm.D. degree, Trey completed a Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative, and Functional Medicine (A4M) from the South Florida School of Medicine. Professionally, Trey has been honored to receive The Roche Pharmaceutical Communications Award, Campbell University Distinguished Alumni Award, and the Keith Fearing Award. He has also served on several boards, including the Retail Advisory Board at NC Mutual, Dean's Board of Advisers from Campbell University, and Corista, LLC, a digital pathology company. Trey acquired Person Street Pharmacy in June 2014 and has been happy to participate in Raleigh’s continued growth. Outside of work, Trey enjoys crossfit, spending time with his dog, Bella, traveling, and taking part in all Raleigh has to offer.

Maresa Roney
Pharm.D, RPh, MBA
Maresa was born in Tucson, AZ, but moved to Washington DC when she was 6. She came down to Raleigh on a swimming scholarship for NC State. She wanted to work within healthcare, but didn’t decide on pharmacy until her junior year of college. She loved biology and chemistry and learning how different substances can influence the human body. She volunteered at REX inpatient pharmacy and enjoyed working with doctors to make a positive impact in patients’ lives. After graduating with a BS in Biological Sciences and a minor in genetics, she furthered her education at Campbell University School of Pharmacy. There, she received her Pharm.D and MBA, graduating cum laude in 2014. She worked for Rite Aid after graduating but always wanted to work for a neighborhood pharmacy. With Person Street Pharmacy, she found the perfect opportunity. Outside of work, Maresa spends time with her husband Jack, son Gunnar and daughter Scout, and their 1 Goldendoodle—Yogi. She also enjoys competing in triathlons, and is a huge NC State fan!

Emily grew up in Winston Salem, NC and moved to Raleigh in 2007 to attend North Carolina State University. In 2010, Emily left NCSU to attend Campbell University's School of Pharmacy. There, she received her Pharm.D and MBA, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2014. Following graduation, she worked at CVS for 3 years before coming to Person Street Pharmacy. She always wanted to work in an independent pharmacy, where she could help serve her community and is thrilled to be working at Person Street Pharmacy. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband Grayson, baby boy Graham and friends. She also travels home frequently to help run the family business, Weathervane Winery.

Chloe grew up in Fuquay Varina, NC and moved to Raleigh in 2009 where she attended Meredith College. She was recruited to play soccer for the Avenging Angels while she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Criminology. She enjoys working at Person Street Pharmacy because it is locally owned, which allows her to develop stronger, more personal relationships with patients. She enjoys helping others and guaranteeing patients quick, efficient, friendly service. In her free time, Chloe enjoys spending time with her family, going shopping with her friends and crafting do-it-yourself projects.

Kyle grew up in Greenville, NC and moved to the triangle in 2009. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry. He has worked in pharmacy for the last 7 years. From the big chain of Walgreens, to Medicap, he finally settled into Person Street Pharmacy where he manages our compounding lab. As an animal lover he enjoys preparing compounds for pets. In his free time, Kyle likes to go hiking/camping and playing music.

Leah grew up in Wake Forest, NC
before moving to Raleigh to attend NCSU. In May of 2016, she graduated from
North Carolina State University with a bachelors in Science, Technology, and
Society. She worked at the CVS in Cary for 3 years before she came to Person
Street where she found her love of being a patient care representative. She is
currently back in school and she hopes to continue her education in Pharmacy
school. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with husband Grayson, dog
Paisley and friends.

Doug was born in Raleigh and raised in Warsaw, NC until age 7. When he was 7 his family moved back to Raleigh and he’s been here ever since. Doug is very patient-focused and enjoys making pharmacy deliveries and interacting with patients every chance he gets. Outside of work Doug enjoys working out, concert going, watching NASCAR (he hasn’t gotten to go to a race yet but wants to!), and spending time with his family.

Kelly grew up in Cary, NC before moving to Greensboro, NC where she attended high school. In May 2014, she graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelors in human biology. She worked at Rite Aid in Cameron Village for 3 years before she came to Person Street where she found her love of being a pharmacy technician. She is currently back at North Carolina State University pursuing her master's degree in physiology, and she hopes to continue her education in Physician's Assistant school. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, traveling, and going to beer and music festivals.

Ryan Brownlow is a recent graduate from Radford University in Virginia and recently moved to the Raleigh area to pursue his interests in the pharmacy field. When at work, he mainly can be found in the Compounding Lab helping patients with questions that they may have, as well as happily dealing with insurance claims. When outside of work, Ryan can be found playing the drums or keyboards, or on a cold winter day can be found on the ski slopes snowboarding. We are happy to report that Ryan was recently accepted to Campbell University School of Pharmacy! (November 2017)

Megan grew up in Dunn, NC and just moved to Raleigh in August of 2016 where she is attending NC State University. She is working towards a BS in Biological Sciences, in hopes of applying to pharmacy school after she graduates. She has previous experience working with a locally owned pharmacy and thoroughly enjoys building personal relationships with patients and meeting new people. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and spending time with her boyfriend, family and pets. She is also super excited to meet her very first niece and nephew (twins) due this October!

Melissa grew up in Lowellville Ohio, and moved to Raleigh in 2014. She has her cosmetology license and has been doing hair for almost 20 years! In 2010 she decided to try her hand as a pharmacy technician and has been compounding medications ever since. She enjoys the personal touch compounding provides. In her spare time she likes to watch HGTV and do projects around the house. She really enjoys working for a locally owned company and helping others in our community.
